In the afternoon of (date here), NBWFC was dispatched to the Beartown road fire, part of the 16 Mile Fire of the Cresco Complex. NBWFC worked over the course of 4 days to establish control lines - burning out large sections ahead of the fire, widening containment lines and ultimately helping bring the fire under control. The fire ended up burning over 8,000 acres total, making it the second largest wildfire in Pennsylvania history.
